What does a paver driveway actually cost?
It depends on three things more than anything else: the square footage, the condition of the surface it's replacing, and the paver you choose. A straightforward replacement on a flat lot costs a lot less than a long approach that has to be dug out, drained, and rebuilt from the dirt up.
Every job is different, so the honest answer is to reach out and we'll put together an estimate for your specific project.
How long will my project take?
It depends on the size of the job and what the site needs, so it varies from one project to the next. But we won't rush the base to hit a date. We'll go over the timeline for your specific project and keep you posted as we go.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free with no obligation, so you can get one and decide from there. If the numbers don't work for you, that's ok too. We'd rather you start with clear expectations than run into surprises later.
Pavers vs. the alternatives
Pavers or poured concrete — which is better?
Concrete is cheaper up front. The catch is that Central Texas soil moves with the seasons, and a solid slab has nowhere to go when it does, so it cracks. When it cracks, you patch or replace the whole thing.
Pavers are individual units set over a flexible base, so they ride that movement instead of fighting it. If one ever gets stained or damaged, we lift that single paver and drop in a new one.
Won't they sink, shift, or grow weeds?
It mostly comes down to the base. A properly built, compacted base with the joints locked in polymeric sand goes a long way toward keeping pavers stable and weeds out. A weak base is where sinking and shifting start, so we take our time getting it right.
How much upkeep do pavers need?
Not much. Rinse them off now and then, and reseal every few years if you want to keep the color rich. Sealing helps but isn't required. And if a paver ever gets oil-stained or chipped, it's a swap rather than a repair, since individual units can be lifted and replaced.

Do you handle permits and HOA approval?
Yes. We've worked across enough Central Texas neighborhoods to know what the city and most HOAs want to see, and we'll tell you up front if your project needs sign-off.
What if something goes wrong later?
We're licensed and insured and stand behind our work. If something doesn't look right down the road, give us a call and we'll talk it through. We're a local family business that runs into our customers around town, so we've got every reason to do it right the first time.
